“My call to ministry is grounded in a faithful response to the compelling claim that I have felt God has laid upon my heart and life. A sense of that call emerged while attending summer church camp as a youth, with clarity and depth being revealed in the time that followed. The vitality and meaningfulness of the call has not diminished over
my years of serving and working for the United Methodist Church, which began in 1981 when I became the Youth Director at the La Mirada UMC.”
